This picture is from 2005.  My Dad loved to tease me that he would sit out front waiting for me to visit and was waiting for his delivery from Suzanne’s Florist for his Father’s Day flowers …  So… I sent him some!

So much fun!

I miss my Dad today.  We had so much fun together.

Treasure your Dads.  Spend time with them.  Call them. 

Because I miss mine terribly and would give everything in the world for another day with him.

My daughter Heather, is getting married in less than a month and I (finally?) have the veil DONE !!! I think she is relieved :)!

It wasn’t too hard. Cutting out a pattern in Tulle/Netting can be scary … wishing I had a large table to work on like in Project Runway!
Heather didn’t want any lace on the edges, which made it easy. I used Butterick pattern B4487.  If you know how to sew, this is the way to go!  I think the entire veil cost me under $50.

I’ve been REALLY busy this week and hadn’t had a chance to go check the garden.  I WAS AMAZED that after one week my artichoke plant had three on the top and little ones growing on some stalks ( can you see them? )

We have camped in #60 and #72.
