Here is campsite #24 at Refugio State Beach:

Pros: This is a huge site. Look how wide it is - from the kayaks over to my truck. Front row spot!
Cons: We went in July and the trees in the spot have lots of little flowers which the bees love. So, if you don’t mind the bees buzzing around the trees, you’re good.

Refugio has horseshoe pits, a basketball court and some swings.  The wind picks up in the afternoon, perfect for flying a kite.

Here is campsite #11 at Refugio State Beach:

Pros:  Long site, plenty of room; centrally located.

Cons: Very shady.  We went in May and it was a bit chilly with all that shade.

Here is campsite #15 at Refugio State Beach.

Pros: Second row back; large site; close to the newer showers and bathrooms and close to the store; partial sun and shade.
Cons: You can smell the sewer at times; this spot is right next to the walk way.
