Avocado & Margarita

I must say the Annual Avocado & Margarita Festival in Morro Bay is growing since it started 3 years ago!  We went to the first one and it was okay … but not great.  This year, the 3rd Annual, it was bigger and better!

There were a lot of Avocados and their growers in attendance with all types of avocados.

I got a cool Avocado scooper/cutter for free, magnets, this recipe book (above).

There were bands, BBQ’s, Cheerleaders selling Chips and Guacamole, tastes of local avocado cuisine,,,,,

Plus … Kettle Korn!  Served WARM and that goes good with a cold beer!

I met a really nice woman who was laid off recently from her job as a Wood Working teacher … as was her husband.  They had a nice table set up with their work –

There were a lot of booths with local craftsmen and women, some great finds!  There were even belly dancing outfits 🙂  ha ha
