Corn, Onions and Mushrooms = Goodness

I’ve come up with a great recipe and everyone in my family loves it!

Ingredients –

4 Corn on the Cob

1 package of mushrooms (use the kind you like)

1 onion

Salt and Pepper

Boil your corn cobs for about 10 minutes.

While that is boiling, chop up your onion and saute/brown in a pan with some melted butter.  Add some salt and pepper.

When the onions are about half way cooked … translucent …. not brown yet, add the mushrooms chopped up into small pieces.  Cook this until the onions are browning and the mushrooms are as well.  Or, cook to your desired liking!

Turn off the onion and mushroom mixture.

When the corn is done, drain the water and let it cool down a bit.  Cut the corn off of the cob into a pie tin or type of dish to hold the corn.  Dump the corn into the pan with the onions and mushrooms.

Cook for a bit more so all of the flavors blend together.  You might want to add a bit more butter during the entire process if needed.
